HOW WE WORK

We offer a team of senior consultants who deliver all aspects of the project, from designing the research, through interviewing and analysis, to developing and presenting our findings and recommendations.

It avoids the duplication and cost of having junior research executives reporting to managers and then directors: and brings the client closer to the raw research. When our team present the results, it’s the same people who carried out the desk research, moderated the focus groups and conducted the interviews.

Where the project involves large-scale quantitative surveys, we will recommend the most suitable fieldwork partner. We will then design the survey, oversee the delivery and analyse the results. And all our external costs are transparent, with no incentives or mark-ups.

RESEARCH

We offer a full range of research techniques from desk research to focus groups and depth interviews. As a research partner, we can advise on planning research programmes, designing surveys and commissioning fieldwork agencies to ensure the best value for your research spend.

TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT

We offer a series of self-standing modules that can be combined to form integrated training programmes for managers, policy-makers and communications professionals. Many of these include a 'surgery' where our lecturers can use their skills and experience to help participants to explore and resolve challenges in their current roles, so bringing together theory and practice and giving a direct benefit to the organisation's immediate work programme.

DISSEMINATION

Our expertise in communications allows us to advise on the most effective way of maximising the impact of research and analysis, including direct engagement with specific audiences (such as stakeholders, employees or local communities) and through the media. This includes using research to inform or frame policy debates and creating research reports that combine robust and credible research with clear and accessible conclusions.
