Woodnewton was founded in 2007 by James Humphreys, formerly director of corporate communications in the Prime Minister’s Office, and Mark Gill, formerly head of employee and political research at Ipsos MORI. 

Our core team and associates have all had senior roles in government, business or the third sector. It means we understand the priorities and constraints facing government and public bodies. And our experience means we can engage effectively with senior decision-makers within your organisation and with your partners and stakeholders.

It also means that we appreciate the strategic context for research. Our analysis and recommendations are always rooted in the real world.
